The Boca del Cielo Inn was opened in 2006 by Owners Maria and Shahin Gutierrez After seeing a film called " Y Tu Mama Tambien", they were inspired to follow their bliss and live life to the fullest. Wanting to share their joy with the world, they opened the Boca del Cielo Inn which means " Heaven's Mouth". Maria's friends say, "In Maria's house,anybody, at anytime,friends, family,and neighbors come in for two reasons: to eat and to chat with her. She is always cooking,always pleased to take care of others".
